Insomnia is a handy software that is designed to provide all the necessary tools and a suitable environment for testing, organizing, running, and debugging HTTP requests and API's.

Since it's a cross-platform piece of software, it can run as smoothly and efficiently on the most popular OS's out there (e.g Windows, macOS, and Linux).

When you launch the app for the first time, you will be greeted with a black-themed and neat Interface, and on the left side of the main window you can create workspaces and folders, manage environments, add requests, and import/export data, and when you're done creating the requests, you can specify URL, payloads, headers and get detailed info on their behavior.

You can also define API key variables globally and instantly switch between environments and sub-environments with just a few clicks.

All in all, Insomnia is a great piece of software that brings all the needed tools and testing environments, to help the user make tasks like organizing, running, and debugging HTTP requests and APIs easier.
