PE Explorer: Load and analyze portable executable files with this free and open-source tool

PE Explorer is an open-source piece of software that allows you to thoroughly analyze portable executable files.

The application itself is portable so once you download it, you just need to run the executable file. You can load DLL, EXE, OBJ, SYS, OCX, and LIB files via drag and drop or the built-in Open dialog.

PE Explorer allows you to analyze multiple executable files at the same time, each in a different window. The contents of the loaded file can be explorer using the options provides in the toolbar, View menu and left panel.

It’s also worth mentioning that each view will open in a dedicated tab, and you can close any of the tabs as needed.
