DrawPile: Host or participate in online drawing sessions along with friends or colleagues

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but so is a drawing. It’s sometimes easier to explain something by drawing, especially when it comes to any kind of visual artwork or schematics. DrawPile is a handy application that lets you host a drawing session on your computer and share the virtual canvas with other people, to show and exchange ideas using shapes, colors and brushes.

Experienced users can tweak the brush settings such as the size of the brush, hardness, opacity and spacing. Color-wise, things can be adjusted via the HSV and RGB sliders included in the app, but there’s also the possibility to enter values manually.


DrawPile basically lets you host a drawing server, so a group of people can work on the same sketching canvas. Simply name the session, add a password and specify the maximum number of simultaneous connections allowed to create a server. Other people can connect to your session by using your IP as the host address, and each can draw and see what the others are drawing.
