myCollections: A lightweight application that lets you efficiently organize and manage your multimedia collections

With the variety of media available these days, files can quickly pile up in one’s computer, making it hard to find something specific when you really need to. myCollection is a handy application that aims to solve this problem.

The program lets users easily manage and sort their multimedia collections, plus it’s so intuitive you won’t need to read the documentation to learn the ropes.

You can add a new item by adding related information: title, editor, UPC barcode, version, description, language, filename, path and so on. Also, you can mark it as tested/for testing or for deletion, as well as add it in your wish list.

The ‚Books’ area can be customized in several aspects, such as author, ISBN, description, editor, number of pages, language and so on. You can mark a book as read/to be read, as completed or for deletion.

What’s interesting about myCollections, is the program lets you automatically get book related information from online services like Amazon and Bing. Furthermore, you can copy books on Kindle devices and see author information. Functions just like the above mentioned ones let you get data from online sources for a variety of multimedia content like songs, movies, TV shows, games and others.
