Open-Shell (Classic Shell): Brings back the classic Start Menu, plus lots of customization options

Windows 10 comes with many improvements compared to older Windows versions, but the lack of the classic Start Menu is something lots of users are displeased with. Open-Shell (formerly Classic Shell) is a free application that can bring back the Start Menu but also lets you customize it in a number of ways.

The application offers more than just the Start Menu as it also bundles the classic Explorer (an extra toolbar and replacement of the copy UI), Internet Explorer and shell update.

The Start Menu comes with different appearances, letting you choose from Windows Classic, XP (double columns) or Vista/7 mode. You can customize the left click, Shift+click and Windows key actions. Furthermore, Classic Shell lets you show the Favorites area as a link or menu, define the menu delay time, skip the Metro screen, and disable the Start button.

The UI skin can be changed and the program offers options for displaying two columns, the user picture and name, search and sounds, languages, reduce the glass color and activate white submenus and much more!
