Desktop Dimmer: Dimm one or multiple displays beyond the default Windows capabilities

Desktop Dimmer is a lightweight application that enables you to change the brightness of one or more computer screens beyond the limits of the Windows operating system.

The application supports internal screens, as well as external displays, allowing you to quickly lower their brightness to a minimum level.

Desktop Dimmer runs in the taskbar, and doesn’t have the traditional interface. You need to simply click on the app’s icon to bring up a slider from where you can dim your computer’s display up to 92%. Furthermore, you can set the app to automatically launch at system start from its Preferences panel.

On top of that, Desktop Dimmer lets you disconnect and reconnect one or more displays as needed and works on all popular platforms, specifically Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
