Portable EditRocket is a resource-friendly text editing tool designed to support popular programming languages, including PHP, Java, CSS, Perl, C, C++, HTML, Ruby and SQL.

It comes with numerous useful features and since it’s portable, there is no installation required. This also means you can run it from an external storage device such as an USB flash drive and it doesn’t edit the Windows registry.

For each of the supported languages you can use sidekicks to develop code faster, plus you can open any URL to see its code.

Basic actions include cut, copy, paste, undo, redo, jump to the start or end of a line, next/previous word and paragraph, find duplicate lines, use the built in search and find & replace functions and add bookmarks.

Portable EditRocket is light on the system resources and it bundles numerous other functions dedicated to coding and editing text. For example, you can view the ASCII table and word count, convert text to HTML, add special characters and use the built-in spell checking function.
