OnionShare: Share files using the official Tor servers in a secure and anonymous manner

While there are plenty of ways to share files nowadays, you can’t beat the security provided by the Tor network. OnionShare is a functional utility that lets you anonymously share files via the Tor network allowing you to benefit from its high security standards.

To use OnionShare you will also need to have Tor Browser installed. The pp has a simple interface where you can quickly load files and folders using the dedicated options or by dragging and dropping them on top of OnionShare’s window.

To share your files, OnionShare starts the Tor Onion server, loads the data and generates a random and intricate URL link. Only users that have the Tor Browser can access the shared files and if you enable the “Stop sharing automatically” option, the server will be closed as soon as the files finish downloading.
