MidiYodi: A portable, lightweight tool that lets you open, edit and play MIDI tracks

MidiYodi is a small and functional tool you can use to view, play and edit MIDI tracks by changing their tempo and duration.

Since this is a Java-based app, you need Java installed on your machine. Other than that, simply run the executable file to use MidiYodi. It is a portable program so it doesn’t include an installer.

For any MIDI audio file opened in the program, you can keep the channels in a single track or separate them on different tracks. You can also open several MIDI tracks and use the program’s navigator to explore their files and view marker, time and key signatures, as well as lyrics and tempo.

With this tool it is possible to switch between channels, analyze the keyboard and score, use undo/redo actions, remove tracks and sections, and add new events among others.

The program settings allow you to change the interface theme and language, choose the MIDI output, switch to another default examiner, fill in a startup file name and so on.
