Inkscape: A free vector graphics editor with an intuitive interface

Inkscape is a free, open-source vector graphics editing software that bundles a comprehensive collection of tools, competing with complex and expensive software suite like CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator.

With Inkscape you can edit images, create objects, apply a multitude of effects and work with layers. The program’s interface offers a large number of options, organized for intuitive usage and easy access. Inkscape supports a variety of file formats such as the popular PNG, JPEG, EPS and TIFF but also several vector based formats.
