Portable TagScanner: A versatile application that lets you edit audio file ID3 tags, play music and rename files

Portable TagScanner is a lightweight utility that provides three main functions: it allows you to edit ID3 tags of your MP3 files, play music as well as rename audio files using TAG information.

As the name suggests, the application is portable so you can directly run the executable either from your local hard drive or from a removable drive. It comes with a functional interface where you can load audio files via drag and drop or the built-in file browser. Thanks to batch processing support, Portable TagScanner can handle multiple files at the same time.

Using this simple tool you can play MP3, OGG and MP+ music files, tweak the volume level and select the file name formatting. Files can be restructured using tag data, plus you can also format text and edit tags.

The application bundles many other useful options like the built-in search option, the ability to create lists, rename files and import/export options for covers.
