Thread Racer is a simple yet powerful application that tests your CPU by putting it under load for a given amount of time. The application can perform a system wide test or can be configured to be customized per CPU thread.

The software has a very simple interface that doesn't offer too much in terms of features but does its job with excellence when it comes to testing your CPU. Thread Racer is aimed more towards professionals or hardware enthusiasts, there's not a real need of stress-testing your CPU without doing some kind of overclocking or debugging errors.

Thread Racer is portable, it doesn't have to be installed and can be copied on an external drive and launched from there. The program's options menu is straight-forward, allowing you to choose if you want to test all the CPU cores or just individual ones.
