CrococryptFile: Store individual files in password encrypted archives with this lightweight utility

CrococryptFile is a simple tool that allows you to secure your files against unauthorized access. The way this works, is the program lets you archive individual files with password encryption.

The archives created with CrococryptFile have the .croco extension, so they can only be opened with this application, and the correct password. Security-wise, the program relies on the powerful 256-bit AES encryption algorithm that lets you setup a different password for each of your archived files.

The application has a simple interface which can be used by anyone. There you can select the encryptoin method, which can be Windows keystore RSA-AES-256, password-based AES-256, cloaked password-based encryption AES-Twofish-256, GPG/OpenPGP Key PGP-AES-256 or cloaked with output padding.

Since CrococryptFile benefits from Explorer integration, you can easily encrypt any file stored on your PC via its context menu.

The simple encryption method provided by the app can come in handy whenever you want to protect several files since each one will require a different password to be unlocked, making it much harder for someone else to gain access.
