DelAge: A straightforward command-line application for checking the file stamp of your files, and move or delete them by age

DelAge is a functional command-line tool that lets you move or delete files based on their age. The ‘Age’ parameter can be the creation date, last modification date or last accessed date.

Compared to utilities that have a GUI, DelAge is less user-friendly, but since it’s a command-line application it uses an insignificant amount of system resources and performs tasks very fast.

After you launch the app, it will display a list of options in the Command Prompt, from where you can set it to include subfolders, hidden and read-only files, and choose which time stamp will be used to evaluate the age.

The program also allows you to delete empty folders, automatically list all files and folders, move files to a user-defined location and preview results by running a test.

Thanks to the fact DelAge is a command-line application, the resource usage is kept to a bare minimum and tasks are carried out flawlessly with no errors.
