FileFriend: A friendly utility you can use to split, join and password protect files

FileFriend is a straightforward tool that allows you to easily cut files into smaller parts, join them or setup password protection for specific documents or folders.

The plain UI, keeps the main features in different tabs. As a result you can use the Split or Join tab to cut files into two or more smaller documents, by entering the number of subfiles in the dedicated field.

You can also merge a collection of split files and recreate the larger, original document. You can save these files to a location of your choice.

In the Convert tab, you can load one or more files, and even a directory and encrypt them using a password, a default public key or even a locally stored item that will work as a key. Lastly, in the JPEG Secrets panel you can insert a file or folder into a photo, and secure them using an access code. Of course, reversing the procedure is also possible, thus you can use FileFriend to extract hidden contents of JPEG image files.
