Instant File Opener: Create a list of applications that would launch when you start your computer

Instant File Opener is a lightweight, free application that allows you to create a list of programs, files, folders, and even URLs to be launched automatically when Windows starts.

With this piece of software you can automate the launch of those apps, files, folders, and websites you commonly use so you can have them ready for use each time you start Windows.

Instant File Opener has a simple GUI and the files you set to open automatically will use their associated program. Among the types of files the program can open you'll find video and music files, text files, documents, website URLs, folders, and programs.

The lists can be saved as special files which will automatically open their contents but you can also use them as a pop-up selection menu where you can choose the programs that will be launched.

It's also possible to save the lists in a special Instant File Opener file format or as a VBScript file. To open website URLs you will need to set the default web browser and there's also a search function for finding specific files you want to open.
