SplitCam: A useful application that lets you stream videos captured via webcam to popular platforms like Twitch and Ustream

SplitCam is a functional utility that lets you stream videos captured using your webcam with various third-party applications at the same time and also change the appearance of your videos by applying effects.

Normally, you can use the webcam with only one application at a time, and other programs will display an error if you attempt to use it in them as well. SplitCam was designed to solve this problem as it splits the video into multiple applications and supports a wide range of software such as Skype, Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger among others.

The program also offers some fun effects you can apply on your videos such as filters, frames, face items and avatars. There’s a built-in snapshot function you can use to save stills of your videos at user-defined moments or manually.

Regarding the program’s settings, you can turn the startup option on and off, as well as the tooltips. What’s more, the webcam’s settings can be tweaked and you can select the video resolution.
