ocenaudio is a free audio editor that was built to please both beginners and power users. At basic level the tool is intuitive and easy to use. At the same time it includes a collection of advanced features to satisfy seasoned users.

Based on OcenFramework, this cross-platform audio editing tool supports all popular operating systems, namely Windows, Max OS X and Linux.

Even if you have a lot of files opened at the same time, the application remains responsive. Some tasks can be extremely time consuming – for example applying effects or opening/saving files. These tasks will run in the background so you can spend your time in a productive manner – working on some of your other files.

Ocenaudio provides you with a real-time preview of effects, so you can hear the output as you’re adjusting the controls configuration. For an effective, yet highly precise editing, the application lets you select multiple parts of the same audio file and listen, edit or apply the same effect to them.

The program has an advanced memory management system that lets you edit multiple files at once, regardless of their number or size. Even for a really large file that’s one or more hours long, basic editing actions like copying, cutting or pasting are done in the blonk of an eye.
