PixPlant: Create numerous types of textures which you can use for 3D graphics creation

PixPlant is a powerful piece of software that enables you to create textures from images which you can use for 3D graphic design, visualization, games, and architecture.

The program also lets you create and edit 3D maps, as well as work with the built-in pixel editor. At first run, a wizard will show you all the actions you can enable, neatly grouped into multiple categories such as Texture, Diffuse, and Displacement.

Also, you can access other categories which allow you to render Ambient Occlusion from a displacement map, import or edit an AO map, extract a specular map from an image, import and edit a normal map, as well as open and edit a specular map.

PixPlant lets you save textures to various image formats such as JPG, PNG, BMP, TGA, PSD, JP2 and GIF among others.
