GlassWire is a free tool that allows you to monitor your network activity. It displays on a straightforward graph that highlights any unusual Internet behavior which could be a sign of privacy violations or malware.

This is a powerful security solution that works flawlessly on top of your current antivirus software and/or firewall. When unusual network activity is detect you’ll receive notifications with detailed information.

The application shows network activity by traffic type, location and application. GlassWire allows you to see applications that connect and send data over the Internet as well as the hosts they communicate with. The program also searches for IP addresses and domains that are known threats, changes to the networking system file, suspicious application changes, ARP spoofing and other activities related to malware and privacy violations.

This is not an antivirus – it’s a tool that offers an additional layer of security and works in conjunction with most antivirus software (not to replace it).
