Image Scaler is a useful utility that is open-source and was created in order to allow users to create skins for osu!, which is a popular rhythm game, but can also be used for other purposes, while also needing to be familiar with regular expressions to scale other types of images.

When users launch the app, the RegEx filters will be available, and they just need to select the source and destination folders, while also having the program save the output files in the same location.

Users will be able to select the scaling algorithm that they prefer, which will produce higher quality images while others will be faster, and the file name and rename filters are fully customizable, while by default, will only process images that have “@2x” in their name, which will be removed from the output file names.

The irritating thing is that the app will not save the settings after it is shut down, but setting the output source is easy enough.
