Gwyddion is an efficient application that was designed to allow users to analyze the properties of microscopic images by scanning probes and to obtain high-quality atomic resolutions.

The advanced techniques that the application is using are for SPM, like AFM, MFM, STM, SNOM, or NSOM, and by scanning the depth of certain images, the tool can obtain highly accurate 3D models of different probes.

Users will be able to manually adjust the height, which will come in handy when the app calculates a slightly higher or lower model height, and apply color filters to correct image variations or faulty focus.

Users will be able to remove any polynomial background that the image contains, for more accurate results, or interpolate data under a mask.
