Battery Monitor is a small widget that displays the status of your battery on the desktop and bundles numerous customizable parameters as well as the option for sound notifications. You can reposition the widget anywhere on the screen, change its opacity and set it to stay on top of other windows.

You can view battery status, percent level, meter bar, current charge, remaining time and charge rate in the widget’s main frame. Nevertheless, you can select the capacity display unit, the frame size, set it to hide while the AC adapter is plugged in, make it show the charging animation as well as set power plans for battery and AC.

Sound notifications can be triggered when the laptop is being unplugged/plugged but you can also turn them off when the flyout is being opened and closed, setup sound alerts for the two battery critical levels and even use your own WAV files.

On top of that, the program allows you to hide various parameters from the widget, such as the charge/discharge rate, battery picture, status and remaining time, power plans and more.
