RegFileExport: Create backups for the entire registry or just specific keys using this fast and portable console utility with straightforward commands

RegFileExport is a lightweight, portable command-line utility that enables you to export the entire system registry to a file for backup purposes, but also to extract certain keys and subkeys.

You can even use the program for registry files located on another hard drive and depending on the situation, to process data from corrupt registry files.

The program accepts 2-3 parameters using this syntax: RegFileExport [Registry File] [Destination .Reg File] {Registry Key}

While {Registry Key} is an optional parameter, if you specify the key, the program will only export this key and its subkeys to the .reg file. When this parameter is not used, it will export the entire file.

The console window provides a few examples when calling RegFileExport's process without arguments and the downloaded package also includes help documentation.

As the tool is portable and no setup is needed, you simply need to save the downloaded executable in the location of your choice which can be on your local hard drive, a USB flash drive, and other external storage devices. Since the application doesn't rely on any DLLs or other components you can directly launch the .exe file to use it.
