Tweeten: A friendly desktop application that lets you see what’s happening on Twitter, view messages and notifications, and also manage your accounts

Tweeten is a simple application that lets you effortlessly browse and read your Twitter feed, view messages, receive notifications and manage accounts directly from your desktop.

The interface of the app can be customized using one of the two built-in themes. The Twitter home page is displayed in a column, as well as other areas of the network, such as messages, mentions, notifications and current activity.

You can view each category in a separate column and as a result, messages, notifications, the latest activity reports and mentions are clearly separated.

However, the program lets you add more categories, besides the above mentioned ones, such as your list of followers, scheduled activities, likes, lists, a ‘Trending’ section and user collections. The app comes with support for multiple accounts, and for each connected account you can see the number of followers, the number of posted tweets, lists, collections and profile details.
