Lets you snapshot small areas of your screen, perform OCR operations and save the result to clipboard

Capture2Text is a free utility that allows you to capture areas of your screen, turn the capture into text using OCR operations and save the output o clipboard.

The application also supports Speech Recognition operations. If you speak into the microphone, the program can turn speech into text.

In some cases the speech recognition technology won’t be 100% sure so the tool will offer you a list with the most likely transcriptions. All you have to do is choose the result you want. By default, the transcription will be copied to clipboard.
