General Journal Entries formerly known as CSV2QBJ is a rebranded and even more powerful data migration and conversion tool from CSV Quickbooks, and it makes it easier to import data, read entries from CSV spreadsheets, extract transactions, sort all data and convert it to a Quickbook compatible format.

The program comes with a intuitive interface that allows you to start by browsing for the CSV files that you want to import, and when you’re done, eventhough it might seem that it froze, it actually starts reading all the data inside the spreadsheets and imports all the transactions.

It displays the journal entries in a structured manner, in a table that also shows the creation date, account name, number and type, debit and credit values, memos, if any, the name of the payee, billing status, etc.

You will also be able to tamper with few settings, in order to change the default behavior of the app. (e.g. Modify the number of decimals and configure General Journal Entries to accept empty names and non-numeric checks in the conversion).
