EasyBCD: A comprehensive piece of software working as a bootloader and modification tool

EasyBCD Community Edition is a comprehensive piece of software working as a bootloader and modification tool. It lets you run multiple operating systems on the same machine, but also to recreate/repair boot files and reset the BCD configuration.

With this tool, you can create a multiboot environment and it includes BCD Backup/Repair utilities that offer the option of reciting the BCD configuration or recreate and repair boot files. The UI is neatly organized and each function is located in a dedicated area.

You can see an overview of your computer’s current settings, as well as the installed operating systems and their position. You can easily rename them and/or change their order in the list.

The current boot entries can be customized in a number of ways. Consequently, you can limit Windows to use a specific number of CPUs, change the Safe Mode type and set the OS to run in SOS/Verbose-Boot Mode or in Kernel-Debug Mode.

Furthermore, EasyBCD Community Edition lets you change the time until the default operating system is booted or turn off this timeout and configure the application to wait for user input.
