XWordGiver is a very fun application that is designed to let users experiment with creating their own puzzles, which is a popular hobby for the passionate.

The application comes with a main window that is very well organized, and the buttons have a brief explanation whenever you hover the mouse cursor over them.

When generating a new crossword, users will need to specify the size (e.g. number of cells and rows that should be included), while also having the possibility to explore the list of block patterns and select the one that matches your idea, and depending on your preference, you will be able to select one of the few input types (e.g. Kana, Alphabet, Kanji, Cyrillic or Digit).

When the crossword is finished, you will be able to print or export it to an image file in order to share it with other passionate users.
