ScanFS: An efficient file locator and disk cataloging tool

ScanFS is a useful piece of software that allows you to find certain files stored on your computer using advanced search filters. The program can display various file-related info for the results, including the size they take up on the hard drive.

In the functional UI, you can select the target folder, type in the file name or mask that should be used for the search and optionally define the minimum and maximum file size and date of modification to narrow down search results.

Each of the found files will be displayed along with a wealth of information such as their name, size, creation date, compete path, file attributes and last access and last modifications.

What’s more, users are provided with the ability to save database and search parameters for later re-use, export the results as a CSV file and even import entries from an existing database. You can also open the files in Windows Explorer, copy, move and delete them from the results list.
