Hard Disk Sentinel: An program that enables you to monitor your HDD’s activity and temperature

Hard Disk Sentinel is straightforward utility that lets you keep an eye on your HDD’s activity and temperature. It bundles numerous features and it’s packed with information such as health, free space and temperature.

For each of the above mentioned categories you can access additional details and you can get a quick glance at your HDD’s performance and health in the Overview tab. Furthermore, Hard Disk Sentinel shows estimated remaining lifetime and power on time, plus you can perform a Surface Test to get even more information, as well as fix problems if any.

The temperature values for the selected drive can be seen in the Temperature section. In the same location you can view the day’s maximum and average temperature, and all of these values are also displayed as separate graphs.

There’s also a section for disk performance where Hard Disk Sentinel displays current, average and maximum transfer rate, total read and written data, the average disk activity and the estimated maximum transfer rate.
