Resilio Sync is a reliable, simple and secure way of synchronizing one or more folders across several computers. As a result you’ll be able to quickly access all your important files wherever you go.

You’ll have to send a secret code that’s automatically generated to the peer computer (in order to link it) if you want to share a folder. There’s also the option of scanning the QR code with your smartphone, as long as you already have the Android, iOS or Windows Phone app installed on your mobile device.

Accesing shared folders through Resilio Sync is very secure, as only the invited users you offered the secret code will be allowed to access them. Also, the application doesn’t rely on cloud servers so there is no chance of your data being intercepted there.

If you make any changes to the contents of a shared folders, they will be automatically synched across all the devices that have the program installed. You can monitor data transfers in BitTorrent Sync’s interface.

You can set the application to limit sending and receiving rates to save data trafic. Among the tool’s advanced options you’ll find the ability to set the rescan and refresh intrervals as well as the number of days after which an inactive peer is disconnected.
