Jasper: Keep track of GitHub issues for the repositories you watch

Jasper is a handy tool that lets you easily stay up to date with the latest Github issues regarding your team and the projects you are interested in.

The tool doesn’t require installation since it’s portable but you will need to go through a configuration process. You will be required to enter your GitHub Personal Access Token and the API host which is api.github.com.

Once you enter the necessary information, Jasper will automatically scan, load and sort the issues into relevant categories. In the right hand panel, the application shows all the issues sorted by category. In the middle panel you can view the actual issues with essential related details and the third panel contains Jasper’s built-in web browser.

The application allows you to filter out issues that contain specific labels, mark them as unread and set the program to display issues with a certain word or from a specific user. Furthermore, the listed issues can be sorted by date, due date, read date and close date.
