Chatterino: A very handy and lightweight chat for Twitch streamers

Do you want to easily chat with your Twitch users? We recommend this very light and useful piece of software, Chatterino. You can use it directly from your desktop. It was created to be an extension to your twitch web chat. With it, you won't need to use the web browser anymore.

If you plan on using it, first of all, you will be required to authorize Chatterino to use your account or if you want to secretly chat as a guest you can just skip this step.

The chat's user interface is nothing to brag about, it's a simple tabbed interface. The developers sacrificed the good looks for speed, fast response and to have a lightweight package.

Since it has a tabbed interface, you can simply add new channels by clicking the "Plus" button from the top toolbar. It also has two other buttons that help you access the account section and the Preference menu.

Even though it looks very simplistic, it has a lot of customization options, like choosing from plenty of GUI themes, change the theme's hue values and fonts, and even add as many accounts as you want (which might be a bad idea to do it with the same IP, risking a twitch ban).

Chatterino may not look the part, but it's a great lightweight instant messenger, which is fast, responsive, and doesn't take a lot of space or system resources.
