Messenger Plus Live is an add-on for Windows Live Messenger which offers a wide array of features and extras to enhance your Messenger experience making it easier, more useful and more fun.

Features:

Tabbed chats
If you are familiar with tabbed browsers then you already understand the concept but even if you don’t, you will soon realize that tabbed conversations make it easier to organize your chats by using a single window for all of them.

Quick Texts
For people that use some messages over and over again, great time-saving opportunities are provided by quick texts and text replacements: customizable messages that can be automatically sent using a shortcut or typed command, or automatic text replacing to use it as a word filter or use written shortcuts.

Custom Sounds
This feature offers a new level of using sounds inside Messenger, allowing users to send their own sounds during conversations. Sounds are transferred automatically and played instantly on both ends.
You can also create new sounds from existing audio files like MP3s or recorded live.

Colors, formatting and commands
Messenger Plus! enables users to choose any color for front and background, format text, manage contacts and conversations and control almost all the aspects of Messenger using commands (text shortcuts similar to the ones used in IRC chat rooms).

Personalized Status
Customize your status in new brilliant ways: set your status to “Away” or “Busy” with a special name tag, personal message or even an auto-responder, set a timer to reset your status and organize presets to reuse common statuses.

Messenger Lock
Protect your privacy in shared computer environments or hide your personal conversations and contacts from anyone by locking Messenger with a shortcut or Plus! menu command and hide it in the system tray with a camouflaged icon, protect it with a password and set it to automatically send a message to your contacts to inform them when you have locked or unlocked your Messenger.

Contacts on Desktop
Display the status of any of your contacts on your desktop through a small floating window in which you can drag and drop messages, links and files.

HTML Chat Logging
Messenger Plus! offers many ways to improve your conversation logs, saving everything, even custom emoticons and winks, sorting them to allow easy searching and providing the possibility to add CSS files and change the Logs skin.
