The purpose of ConEmu is to help users that like working with multiple console programs at once, which will give them the possibility to open more than one command-line tool in multiple tabs, like graphical interfaces, and even set up custom tasks or add command groups to menus.

Users will be able to exclude any components from the full package like Far Manager, Start menu, or desktop shortcuts, thus the installation process will not take long, and once it is finished, they will be able to create initial customization pertaining to the ConEmu settings storage location, single-instance mode, keyboard hooks, DLL injection, etc.

The program comes with a Command Prompt looking interface, that will allow users to open new tabs for running the console utilities, while also being able to add new console tools for quick access if the pre-defined ones are not enough.
