Guitar Pro: A multitrack tablature editor for guitar, bass and other instruments

Guitar Pro is an advanced application that lets you edit multiple track tablatures for guitar, bass and various other instruments. It also includes finger positioning instructions and a guitar tuner among other useful tools.

The application lets you cultivate your guitar skills regardless of your current experience as it offers important tools to create amazing music. With a polished and friendly UI that make working with Guitar Pro an effortless task, all you need in order to use it is some basic knowledge on reading tablatures and understanding of music rhythm.

You can use Guitar Pro to create and edit tablatures for guitar and other instruments. In it you’ll find a Chord engine, a Guitar Fretboard, a Scale Engine and a Tuner. It also includes effects and audio samples for various types of guitars and a large number of other instruments, including drums, piano and strings.

It allows you to import and export files with built-in support for various input formats, such as ASCII, MIDI, PowerTab, TabIEdit and MusicXML. As a result, you can use existing music sheets you download from the Internet or acquired from other sources. It also offers access to its own sheet library that you can use and edit.

In the main window there’s a number of retractable panels you can work with, each with a different purpose. This way, in the Edition panel you can work with symbols, adjust parameters for the song in the Effect Panel, but also use the Chords Panel, Mastering Panel and the Lyrics Panel to access related options.
