Portable cdrtfe: A portable app that lets you burn CDs and DVDs, but also create ISO or CUE virtual images

Portable cdrtfe is a free, lightweight tool that lets you burn CD and DVD disks with data, video and audio files, also offering the possibility to create ISO and CUE virtual images.

The application is portable, so you don’t need to install it. You can run the executable from your computer’s hard drive or from an external storage device such as USB sticks. Furthermore, since it doesn’t require installation, it won’t modify the Windows registry.

The functional UI of the app bundles a traditional file explorer and all the offered options are presented in a tabbed view. It will automatically detect the disc’s writing speed and you can abort the burning process at any point.

The Settings menu lets you customize several aspects of the program. For example, you can set cdrtfe to retain your settings, eject discs when actions are complete, use tags or filenames when burning audio CDs and automatically erase DVD-RWs and CD-RWs. You can save your file lists or projects on your computer’s hard drive as CFP files, so you can complete the data burning process later.
