phpMyAdmin is a free utility written in PHP that enables you to administrate MySQL through a web browser. With phpMyAdmin you can perform a large number of tasks such as creating and dropping databases, create/drop/alter tables, delete/add/edit fields, execute SQL statements, manage keys on fields and many others.
