EncFS MP: A friendly tool that lets you create and mount encrypted file systems

EncFS MP is an easy to use piece of software that lets you create an encrypted file system in order to secure personal or sensitive data and mount it on your local hard drive or on a removable storage device.

To create and encrypt file systems, the tool lets you use a combination of methods or encryption levels. You can select between three full configuration options: standard, expert and paranoia. Only the expert option is customizable and lets you choose between AES or Blowfish encryption algorithms and also customize the other provided parameters.

The tool I exceptionally easy to use, thanks to its straightforward options and intuitive interface. After you create the file system, it can be enabled/disabled as needed, while the tool is running.

The encrypted folder is password-protected, plus you will need administrator permissions to mount the folder.
