hide.me VPN is an intuitive VPN client that allows you to protect your identity and location while surfing the web as it reroutes your connection through a secure server which acts as a virtual private network.

To use the app you’ll need to create an account, and enter the login information in its main window. In the simple UI, you can view an overview of your connection status as well as information related to the VPN IP address and your account.

Hide.me VPN offers various types of subscriptions, and depending which one you chose, you can select your IP address to be from one or more countries. However, you can also allow the app to select the IP address which is closest to your actual location to ensure an optimal connection speed.

To connect to the target VPN server, all you need to do is use the related option and as soon as the connection is established its status will be displayed in green. What’s more, the program will also let you know that your real identity is hidden and the Internet connection is encrypted.

The program offers support for various connection protocols such as L2TP, IPsec - IKEv1 and IKEv2, PPTP and SSTP. Premium and plus subscribers can also establish OpenVPN connections.
