WD SSD Dashboard is an application that lets you optimize your Western Digital Solid State Drive (SSD) runs at optimal performance also including various details related to your SSD and practical functions.

From the main screen, you can monitor your drive's functionality, access its status and perform various maintenance tasks. The application also displays a wealth of information about your SSD including its model, firmware version, health, and notifications. Details regarding your PC are provided as well, such as the manufacturer, model, CPU, operating system, service pack, system type, and secure boot.

The Tools section of WD SSD Dashboard enables you to securely erase your SSD which will also require a USB drive as it will attempt to create a bootable removable drive.

A USB flash drive is also required for the Sanitize function and the SSD's firmware can be updated from the Drive Management menu.

The program can be customized to send you email notifications for certain events. The function can be enabled from the program's Settings in the Email Alerts section where you will need to enter your email. It's also possible to select the events for which you will be notified from the Advanced Alert Options section.
