ClassicDesktopClock is a great application that was designed for Windows nostalgics that want to get reminded of the design of older OS editions, (e.g. Windows XP, and even Windows 98).

The program comes with two versions, one that has a setup in order for users to install it, and a portable version that can be copied and pasted on a USB stick and after that just use it on any other machine, without leaving any traces in the Windows registry.

Users will be allowed to position the clock anywhere on the screen, and they can bring up the main window to configure the settings, while also having the possibility to tweak the clock’s size and transparency, which makes it stay on top of other windows, disable the clock hand responsible for showing the seconds, or make its current position fixed.

The program runs the Windows 98 style by default, but users can explore other themes from Windows XP to Vista, and 7, all the way up to Windows 11.
