Lightworks is a very intuitive tool that allows you to create and edit video files, by importing a series of clips, audio or images, while also including smart management options besides the software editing tools.

It offers support for various types of file formats and codecs and will allow you to import local files, record the feed from video devices and instantly edit them, while it won't need to transcode the input, allowing the user to work with several formats (e.g. DVC HD, RED R3D, DPX, AVCHD, H.264, XDCAM EX).

The program will also allow the user to control the media files' Synchronization on the timeline, add videos, audio, and pictures, and even change the speed options, while the files can be easily imported from local files or acquired from media devices, into a collection, for quick selection.

Lightworks is a very handy video editor that offers a multitude of options when it comes to exporting content.
