Soundux: Simple and straightforward soundboard tool for live Events

If you want to any type of sound via a hotkey, we recommend using Soundux, which is an open-source tool created from the ground up with simplicity in mind.

Since the software comes both as a setup and as portable, it is up to the user if he wants to install it on the computer. The software sports a minimalist interface and the remote volumes are shown in the top section and you can easily sync both local and remote audio outputs, depending on what effects you're playing.

The term used for specific sound effects is called Tabs and you can add entire folders full of sounds via the Tabs, and then rename them accordingly. When you need to play a sound effect as a quick response, you can use the search function to quickly find what you need, and all the sounds can be sorted out in case it helps you find them faster.

You can also assign hotkeys for all the sounds or for the opened Tab. In the settings menu, the hotkeys can be disabled and you can also assign a key for push-to-talk. If you want to avoid unwanted incidents during live events, the app also has a mute microphone button but at the moment, it is only available for Linux.

Soundux does not come with editing features, so you will pretty much have to rely on third-party programs. All in all, Soundux is an excellent soundboard tool that will satisfy every user or streamer.
