Simple x264/x265 Launcher is a robust GUI that can be used with x264 H.264 and x265 HEVC video encoder. The tool supports VapourSynth and Avisynth input, plus you it works flawlessly with 64-bit versions of encoders.

The program’s layout is intuitive and lets you easily load files using the drag and drop function or the related browse button. It supports a wide range of file formats, such as AVS, MKV, AVI, MP4, FLV and others.

The generated log contains extensive details regarding the encoding jobs, plus you can start/pause/cancel a task and view data about the current job in Simple x264/x265 Launcher. If you wish to create a new task, you’ll need to choose an input and an output folder. Also, you can select the AVC or HEVC video encoder, 32 or 64-bit architecture mode and 8 or 10-bit variant.

The rate control can be altered as well, thus you can choose between ABR, CRF, 2-pass and CQ modes, fill in a custom CF value and tweak the target bitrate. The tool provides a few preset parameters, profiles and tuning effects and even the possibility to enter custom encoder parameters.
