Kid3: Edit ID3 tags for FLAC, MP3, OGG/Vorbis and MPC audio files

Managing a huge audio collection can be a time-consuming task, unless you use a specialized application like Kid3. This functional tool allows you to edit ID3 tags and better organize your music, and includes support for FLAC, MP3, OGG/Vorbis and MPC audio formats.

Furthermore, the tool lets you search for lyrics in various online sources and rename files automatically. It is a portable app so you can directly run the executable file from a flash drive or your local hard drive.

The simple interface lets you load files using the folder view, file browser or drag and drop. In the main window, you can edit the album, title, artist, date, comment, genre, track and number of audio tags, as well as modify the filename pattern and file name using the tags.

The import options allow you to load data from various sources like Amazon, MusicBrainz Fingerprint and Discogs, create playlists, search cover art, define track numbers and convert ID3 versions.

Regarding Kid3’s settings, the tool lets you edit proxy parameters, create custom genres, change the app’s font and style, replace strings and redefine keyboard shortcuts.
