Microsoft .NET Framework: A preview release of the latest version

Microsoft .NET Framework is a software framework designed for Windows-based systems that provides language interoperability for most applications created for the Windows platform and access to functionalities contained in programs that execute outside the .NET environment.
This is a preview release for the latest version of .NET framework.

New features:

- Deep integration of Language Integrated Query (LINQ) and data awareness.
- ASP.NET AJAX for creating efficient, interactive rich Web content, compatible across all popular browsers.
- New web protocol for WCF services support, including AJAX, JSON, REST, POX, RSS, ATOM and several new WS-* standards.
- Full tooling support for WF, WCF and WPF including the new workflow-enabled services technology.
- New classes in the base class library (BCL) for the new .NET Framework address, the most common customer requests.
