DeviceLock: A fully-featured application that helps network administrators set up permissions for different devices (e.g. USB and FireWire ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapters, PDAs, CD-ROMs)

DeviceLock is a piece of software that allows network administrators to configure permissions for accessing WiFi and Bluetooth adapters, USB and FireWire ports, CD-ROMs, floppy drives, PDAs, as well as other removable devices.

Users can select the network workstations that should be scanned, specify credentials to individual computers or network domains, set up a connection to the LPAD server, and customize port settings.

DeviceLock lets you create multiple projects and sort them using various criteria. Also, their contents can be filtered based on permission reports or auditing log files. A built-in wizard makes it possible to compare two existing projects and export the results to a CSV or TXT file.

There are various plugins included in the application that provide additional functionality such as defining maximum log size, viewing auditing log files, generate a report with security permission information for selected devices, and update DeviceLock on other workstations.

What's more, you can create a list with users that have can access the DeviceLock Service with administrator rights, create a message that will be displayed when access is denied, set the program to detect encrypted disks and keyloggers, and create custom exclusion lists. Support for remote operations is included and you can generate a log containing all port and device activity.
