The application features inter, intra, and switch frames, customizable keyframe interval, and set the thread pool size and specify the number of tile rows, columns, and tiles, while also you can customize the pixel range, frame rate, the bitrate, and the time scale.

It also comes with both constant quantizer and target bitrate encoding modes, with both single and multi-pass encoding, the processing speed can be changed to whatever is needed, from a range of 0 to 10. (e.g. The lower the speed the bigger the quality, and vice-versa).

Also, the number of frames to encode can be limited and rav1esupports 8-, 10- and 12-bit depth color and offers various chroma sampling options.
